Our Story

Hello. I'm Jen. I am delighted that  you have found 'A Scent of'. I am so proud to be able to share my small, family run business with you and hope that you will take some time to browse our products and be part of our journey with us!

I am British but, due to my husbands relocation with his job, we moved to Georgia in June 2023 - and love it!

I have previously had a busy and successful career as a high school teacher in the UK. However, it was a demanding job with little to no time for creativity or self-care. COVID, like so many people I am sure, made me reassess many aspects of my life.

I always dreamt of running my own business so I took the decision to leave teaching and chase that dream ~ and that is how A Scent Of started! We have been so fortunate that we had a loyal customer base back in the UK and we're excited that we are on the same journey now that we are living in the US.

I've always believed that scent has an overwhelming ability to stir your memory, evoking emotions associated with people, places and occasions. It also has a powerful ability to motivate, calm and energize the mind. So, this was the driving factor behind our scent collections. 

Customers are at the heart and soul of A Scent Of. As such, our aim is to create an experience for you. From browsing the website, to receiving your order, to melting your melts.....we hope that our attention to detail and the love that is poured into our melts is shared with you throughout and that they really will melt your senses!
